ACDS inaugural Fellowship awarded! Posted in Featured, News, Teaching and Learning on June 10, 2019 by ACDS Web Admin. Congratulations to Tina Acuna and Jo-Anne Kelder for being awarded the inaugural ACDS Fellowship! Their project aims to develop the CER-STEM framework to embed scholarship in the cycle of quality improvement (yearly) and quality assurance (external benchmarking; at least 5 yearly) of qualifications, leading to evidence-based scholarly outputs and informs a collaborative approach to curriculum design that can be facilitated within and across disciplines and university boundaries. This project is very timely as it addresses the recently released TEQSA guidelines stating that scholarship that is claimed to inform teaching (or supervision) must have a demonstrable relevance to the course being taught, including scholarship relating to the process of teaching and learning in itself.
