Congratulations to the newly announced Superstars of STEM Posted in News, Research, Teaching and Learning on December 15, 2024 by Glenda Key. The ACDS congratulates and is inspired by the work of the recently announced Superstars of STEM. The latest 60 Superstars come from across Australia and are drawn from diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds. This year’s group includes 14 Superstars from regional Australia and three First Nations women. The ACDS commends STA and the sponsors and mentors for this important program. The Superstars of STEM program is both empowering for the individuals and also in changing minds and stereotypes of what a scientist, technologist, engineer or mathematician looks like. As the peak body representing university science the ACDS also commends and thanks all those university staff that have inspired, supported and helped build the careers of the latest Superstars on their journey. We look forward to working with many of these Superstars through our university members.
